emoticons

I took a break from the forum for almost a month, and when I returned last week, I was unable to see emoticons. For example, a smiley face simply says the word "smile." Any ideas? I miss my smileys (and not just because they remind me of a positive OPK, haha)! Thanks!

I think it is funny that this hasn't been fixed. It actually is entertaining to be readying a long and see "smile" or "frown" :)

I don't see Smileys. Could it have to do with the browser or computer? I use Firefox and Macs.

I use Explorer at home and work, and cannot see them. There's just an empty box where the face should be ....

I use Firefox and a PC at home and at work, and the words "smile" and such show up. On Internet Explorer, there is an empty box for me, too. I've missed my smileys for so long! :(

I think it is due to upgrade version of this forum and the admin of this forum removes the emotions from here.

Well, I see you were all posting these at the end of 2010 and beginning of 2011 and I still can't see the emoticons. Apparently they will not be fixed ...?

Ya which kind of sucks... I just do the smiles with spaces between them so at least some emoticons can come across : - )
