Finally my very own BFP!!!

It's official. I took another First Response test this morning and the line was darker, so I rushed out and bought a digital and it says PREGNANT!!!!! I've been at this for over a year and this was going to be my last cycle. I can't believe I'm actually pregnant. I couldn't have done it without all your support ladies (and gents)!

    Congratulations! This is fabulous news. When did you start trying? I was just thinking about the year + of frustration I have been going through...maybe you can give me some hope.

    I started trying July of last year. I didn't tried every month though- this was my 8th try. I was seriously thinking I just wasn't meant to have a child and I needed to move on. I tried everything- lots of vials, a clomid/IUI cycle with a doctor, switching donors, accupuncture, you name it I tried it. This month I was more relaxed because I was thinking it was another epic fail. I can't tell you how shocked I am right now! It hasn't sunken in. There are lots of ladies that have been at this for awhile before they get their BFPs so don't give up hope!!!

    I'm so happy for you! (Also so happy for the hope stories like this bring for those of us who keep trying and trying and trying - I'm on my 7th try over a year and a half)

    That is just amazing news!! Congratulations!
    6 IUI's resulting in BFN. 7th IUI was the fun one with pregnant...then not...then ectopic at 7 weeks...IVF #1 - miscarriage...IVF #2 miscarriage 5w6d...IVF #3 cancelled due to not growing embryos and pneumonia...IVF# 4 same old story...BFP then miscarriage...this is getting old...onto possibly Donor Egg or Donor Embryo

    tyme2rise- as far as symptoms go, the only ones I've noticed are nausea and cramps. I've had nausea since 6dpo- it lasts all day and only lets up at night. The cramps are mild. Not like ovulation cramps or PMS cramps. I can't explain it- just milder and not localized. My boobs aren't that sore at all.

    And Trish is right- it looks like we'll have a lot of babies in July/August! My due date (according to google) is one day before my birthday. What a coincidence!

    J & J in Alaska - 4th TTC created our little one. Miscarried at 10 wks 4 days on 12/1/10. Tried many more times then took a break for a couple of years to get healthy. We're BACK!! :)
