Waiting on +opk *UPDATED AGAIN*

We are PATIENTLY (key word) waiting on a +opk. It can be any day now - DP ovulates between day 14 - 17. I know how much the TWW stinks, but I'm already going nuts with the waiting and not knowing and we haven't even done the IUIs yet! I do not want to let my DP know I'm already at this state, so thanks for letting me share on here and away from her! We did some yoga on Monday, she got a message yesterday, shes going to a baseball game tonight (one of her fave things to do) and getting another message tomorrow. I'm trying to keep her as relaxed and stress free as possible!

I know how you feel. I am the same way when DW and I are TTC. When we were doing at home insems the wait for a +opk would drive me CRAZY!! Now that we use and RE and do the trigger shot we don't have to wait for a +opk but now the wait for the CD12 ultrasound to check the size and number of follies is going to drive me nuts!!! My wife is used to me being impatient though lol. GL to you both!!

It is hard to wait and wonder if the cycle was a bust because it didn't come on time! But it's a great feeling when that smiley shows it's face. Hang in there!

I'm at the same point. Waiting for the smiley. The dewar is here, tucked into the least sunny corner of the living room.
This will be my third try, and I feel so much more impatient than the first two!
I just want it to work already!
    Good luck!

Kerkyra - good luck to you too!

Still no smiley and DP woke up with a temperature, feeling sick. Also, I thought I read somewhere that if you are using a trigger shot you do not need to test with opks. However, our Dr. wants a +opk, to then go get a trigger shot. Is this unusual? I guess I don't get why we need a +opk if they are going to use a trigger shot.

Update - Nurse told us to come in for an ultrasound... we did. She has not ovulated yet, but should either tomorrow or Sunday. Her egg was 16 mm. So we continue to wait. Nurse told DP to give herself the trigger after +opk so we do not have incur the expense of another ultrasound. FX we get the positive tomorrow morning!
