Twin names!

I need boy/girl twin names! We like clunky vintage names - our son is Frederick Lars and our top runners for a name this time are Bertram, Homer, Arthur, Henrietta, Theodosia, Odessa. I really like Theodosia and Thaddeus as a set, but my Jordan does not. Names need to 'match' in some way - same first letter, same sound and the end, whatever. Any ideas?
TTC since September 2007 - 8 donor insems in 2012, all BFN. DH had varicocele repair #2 1/3/14.
It worked! Two clomid cycles and two IUI's with injectables all BFN, on to IVF! 3dt of 2 perfect embryos on 12/15/14, BFP 7dp3dt! Frederick Lars born at 37 weeks on 8/15/15!! FET for #2 on 9/29/16 - BFP 5dp5dt!! Bertram Wilder and Mabel Moon born at 28.4 weeks on 3/29/17!

Are you wanting different names than the ones on your list? Or names that match those?

When I hear Bertram, I think Bertram/ Beatrix. I have a little girl in my middle school classroom named Beatrix, nickname Bea ("bee"). It's cute! I also like the name Barnaby for a boy.

Same ending sound as Homer...I like Eleanor. Maybe you would like Theodora since you like Theodosia?

You could also go with names of brothers/sisters in classic literature if you are into that...example: Holden/Phoebe from Catcher in the Rye.

I've always loved the names Millicent/Maximus for boy/girl twins. Wife hates those, though :) Good luck with the names. It's so fun picking them out! I've already decided if we have a girl next, she will be Eleanor "Ellie" Maeve.

Hadley and Harper were the twin names we had picked out... just in case! The wife is glad we only needed one name though!

We had enough trouble picking out two boys' names at the same time, I can't even imagine trying to do boy/girl!!

What about Anastasia and Arthur? Nicknames Arlo and Annie?

All the baby wants to do this morning is nurse, so I'm captive on the couch pondering baby names now...

Odessa/Octavius or Octavian (kid in my class nicknamed Ocie, which I always found adorable).

Arthur/ Merlina or Merline (King Arthur references ... Also how cool to be a little girl named after a wizard?!)

My real first name is Anastasia pronounced "Anna-sta-cya" and my middle name is Clarissa but I go by Ana as I'm not a clunky name person myself, but I do frequently get compliments on my name and how it is pronounced as it is not very common. Anyway all of thay to say my name was going to be Antonio if I was a boy and Anastasia (as someone else recommended) and Antonio or Anthony go well together.

Love the name Thaddeus, but not sure of a good girl's name to go with it. There's a girl I work with and her name is Bronwyn... I thought it was a cool name!
    Bertram and Bronwyn

Great suggestions!! Right now we are liking Bertram and Mabel or Mirabel - which don't really match like I wanted, but both have strong B sounds in them - or Homer and Helena.

I love the name Mabel. It was on my short list but my wife vetoed it since our last name starts with the letter M (Maeve also was off the list too - I really love that name). And personally, I like the Bertram/Mabel combo. I think it's adorable.

Anyone want to weigh in on middle names for Mabel? We're pretty sure twin brother will be Bertram Wilder if we go with that set, though Wilder isn't 100% set in stone. So far I like...

    Mabel Felicity
    Mabel Vivian
    Mabel Moon
    Mabel Clementine
    Mabel Marigold

...and I'm totally open to suggestions!

If brothers middle name will start with a W, you could do Mabel Willow to make them more matchy. Out of your choices, I like Mabel Clementine :-)
