DP got smiley yesterday, on St. Pat's Day and today our first insem is Goddess of Fertility Day I hope this means a BFP!
Goddess of Fertility Day is celebrated on March 18th. It is just before the coming of the Spring Equinox on March 20th this year and is considered a blessing amongst those who honor the ancient Mother Goddess religions today.
For those wishing blessings upon their attempt to procreate, today is the perfect time for fertility. Goddess of Fertility Day celebrates Aphrodite and the other patron goddesses of fertility.
This is represented by the beliefs in many cultures having multiple gods and goddesses that represent various aspects of human life.
The ancient Greek goddess Aphrodite is historically one of the most well known goddess for fertility. Belivers would make offerings to Aphrodite when seeking to create children and form a family.
To some modern religions this is known as Supreme Sacrifice Day. It is a day honoring those who have given the most in life and death, today we remember them.
I hope that she sends us all baby dust this month!
