Hello Ladies,

Can anyone tell me what the procedures are for ivf?
Can an ob/gyn perform the procedure?
Thanks

Chrysanthemum summed it up pretty well. If you want, you can check out my IVF blog (www.wondraivf.blogspot.com). I detailed our IVF journey and it has some pretty good information on there. You can also contact me if you want. Best of luck!

I am starting that process myself. My RE does IVF. Just make sure you start talking your RE a couple of months before you want to do IVF. There are lots of tests to take beforehand and the results of those tests will give the Dr. a good indication of your success rates. I took the same one's last year when preparing for IUI but have to redo all the bloodwork (which I am doing this week) since those tests are only good for 6 months. Good luck to you!
