For those who don't know... I have been on these boards since before the beginning of time... Well, since 2004-2005 anyhow... : )
Way back when, we tried with donor sperm and on our 6th attempt we finally got a bfp, which sadly resulted in m/c.
We went back to trying (IUI's, three a cycle... some medicated, some not) for more than a year and a half longer. No luck. Heartbreaking to spend so much money with nothing to show...
In 2008 we decided to do an IVF cycle, transfered three beautiful embies. Nada.
We then went to foster and have had 20+ kids come and go from our lives. Much much love, but much heartbreak.
After losing a baby girl that we raised for more than a year, I decided to go ahead and transfer the three remaining frozen embies... that was 10 days ago.
And today... I am PREGNANT!!!!
(the numbers are low, so i am still guarded... but rejoicing in the fact that there are TWO beautiful lines on that test!!!)
