Truvia safe for pregnancy?

I have been drinking on occasion the Crystal light pure. It is sweetened with sugar and truvia. I am staying away from all artificial sweeteners and thought that since truvia was derived from a natural plant leaf it should be OK. The website for truvia says it is OK for pregnant and nursing mothers.
