Question regarding insemination with a catheter

I'm curious, when using a catheter, does the syringe part also go in? In other words, how much of the syringe is still left outside of the body?

Our second try is at 7 pm tonight.

Thanks!

Jen

We pushed the catheter in until we felt it reach the cervix. ( didn't use speculum) I don't think the syringe went in at all, but that could change depending on the positioning of your cervix. Best of luck!!
