Baby Dolls

I'm looking for a special doll for Olivia and just am not having any luck. I want something she can drag around, cuddle, and love on. I was thinking something with hair, but not a necessity. I don't know what I'm picturing exactly, but the few stores we have tried have had very little selection. Any suggestions?

We got E a weighted Waldorf doll about six months ago. She loved it for the first few weeks, then let it fall by the wayside for a couple of months (I think the weight was a tiny bit heavy for her). Recently, however, she has found "Bianca" again and is completely in love! She's scented with lavender and smells delightful! She carries her everywhere (at home), puts her to bed a million and one times, kisses on her, snuggles, nurses, changes her diapers, etc.

Here's a link to the type we have: http://www.bellalunatoys.com/waldorf-dolls/waldorf-dolls/little-heavy-baby-dolls.html

I think most Waldorf dolls are soft and snuggly and nice to have around. There are many on Etsy, Ebay etc

I was also going to suggest a Waldorf doll...Sebastian has two and he loves them. They can be somewhat costly, but I think worth it. I love how they are made and ours have held up quite well as they are some of Seb's favorite toys at the moment...he literally drags his dolls around and they come everywhere with us, he regularly sleeps with one of them, feeds them, he even tried to give one a bath (though that was kind of a mess).
We also got one of ours from bellaluna, although its a little more boyish than one you might select for O. The other I purchased on Amazon.com...here is the link:

Here is a super cute one that I love also...Haba has some super cute ones, there is a whole line of them and they each have their own name! :-)

We bought C baby Stella before L arrived so he could have a "baby". Of course he didn't want anything to do with her but she is super cute. Amazon usually has the best price.

My nieces have these, one girl and one boy:
    http://www.amazon.com/North-American-Bear-Company-Cheeks/dp/B000G334Z4/ref=cm_cr_pr_sims_t

They are soft and snuggly, the clothes are easy for little hands, and they hold up well. My oldest niece has been carrying her doll around for 4 years and it still looks great.

    I love this one -
    http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000G334Z4/ref=mp_s_a_2?pi=SL75&qid=1351195904&sr=8-2

And it's only $20. We had a few dolls one & Riley loved it which of course Z had to have it all though he really did not care. So I bought this soft simple baby doll. Shirt & diaper can come off or put on easily. I have washed it on the gentle cycle or hand wash in the washer (we have a front loader) he does have hair. I love it. Love that its soft & no plastic, its actually cute. They may have a girl one all though really any sex may be fine.

Ha! Ha! Nina, I suppose I should have said " I've got a FEW picked out", and need to choose two- a boy and girl!
