So proud of my son (responding to daddy question)

I'm so proud of Aiden. Today we got both of our carseats checked and the lady asked Aiden where his daddy was. He responded so confidently with "we don't have a daddy in our family" without any prompting from me. I'm so proud of the way he responded.
I just had to share that Aiden's growing! I had to buy him 3T pants today because his other dress pants are now high waters on him! Of course we had to adjust them to the smallest waist setting, but they look nice on him. I look at him around other 3 year olds now and he looks so much closer to them in size now. Man, can growing a few inches really make a difference.

This reminds me of my daughter, who when she was about 3 was talking to another girl her age at the airport (we were in transit, and my daughter makes friends everywhere!) They were playing nicely, then my daughter ran over and said, "Mummy, we don't have a daddy in our family, right?" "That's right," I said. She turned to the little girl and said, "See? I told you! No daddy!" Then they skipped off happily.
