Baby girl hairstyles? Need help for Juliet's reverse mullet

Juliet's hair grows from the ears forward, but there hasn't been any growth in months from the earline back. (Ironically, just the opposite of Justin at this age!) Anyone want to share photos of their kid's first hair style to give me some inspiration? I tried the ponytail on the top of the head thing for months. I cut it about a month ago just to keep it out of her eyes, but it looks like a bowl cut. I'm not finding much for hairstyles for babies online, other than those for kids with lush, thick hair all over. Juliet has very fine hair . . . in the front only.

I recently found a super cute solution because I can't stand the whale spout! You know those clips, I think they're called alligator clips? I'll try to take a picture. Anyway, I take the front of her hair, kind of pull it towards the back then twist it. Then I clip it. After a few times it looked much neater and stayed much better. I even found some cute ones with bows on them at h&m for something like $3 for 6.

(sorry I can't make these smaller from my phone!)
this is the clip but one without a bow

We Just got Emerson's haircut last weekend. We cut the mullet tails off into a cute bob (no bangs). It is adorable, suits her, and is much less tangly.

I used those crocheted headbands and put barrettes on them because Shiloh had no hair to speak of!

One of my older daughters is Korean. I swear gravity didn't find her hair until she was 2 so we always had this huge bunch of hair sticking up. Barrets do work and hair can be trained...as silly as that sounds...just find what looks good to you and keep going at that style. She is adorable.
