I was just wondering if anyone has used 901a and had a girl?? i have seen several post of baby boys using 901a, I liked his profile and health screen information but my partner and i would really like a girl and it seems like 901a is definetly a boy maker. can anyone suggest girl makers! i know its 50/50 but its something to be said! :):):)

I have the same question. I'm in my tww wait with 901a. I think his swimmers are fast and they say boys get to the egg first. So maybe inserminate a little earlier then your O. Good luck and babydust

Some people believe that there is a higher chance of having boys while doing an IUI since you are placing the sperm in the uterus at ovulation and boy sperm swims faster. If doing ICI it would be the usual 50/50 chance.

FWIW, the studies show that IUIs are still 50/50 in the boy/girl department. Since there are already so many boys with this donor, maybe it's time to tip the scales! ;) not that that's how it works ... Also, remember there could be plenty of other folks with girls off the forum.

We didn't/don't use this donor, but in our donor sibs group up until a set of twin boys being born we had been the only boy, the other 7 are girls, with one unknown that registered in the sibling registry but didn't say the gender. So even if all the others have been boys, it doesn't guarantee that you'll have a boy too. Just a thought. :)

In my donor group the oldest 4 children that I know of are boys and then the next 3 born are girls. Like others have said there is really a 50/50 chance on what gender your child will be and someone has to have the first girl! lol

funny how that happens, seems like some donors lean more one way than the other.

There is a sibling registry for each donor that can only be viewed by people who have reported pregnancies with that donor.
