Transferring care

We are looking into transferring care from our current midwife attached to an OB practice to a birthing center. Anyone have any experience with transferring care? Our current office will not adhere to most of the items on our birth plan so we have to make a move. Although we are aware that births don't always go as planned, we do want to plan for the best case scenario.

Thanks!

Thx! We are touring another birthing center on Monday and then making a decision. I am surprised there are so few in S FL.

When I switched providers, I just started seeing the new one and sent a request to have my records transferred.

I don't have any advice since I'm having my baby at the hospital, but good luck in the transfer!! I'm sure you'll be very happy with the birthing center!!
