Anyone scheduled to ovulate next week sometime and having IUI?

Hey everyone! I'm new to the site and to NW Cryobank. After our 5th unsuccessful IUI attempt last year, we decided to try everything new. New doctor, new bank, new donor the works!!! My beautiful wife and I will be celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary next month so I hope and pray that this time will be the charm. There could be no better anniversary gift. I'm on CD 8 right now so I'm thinking late next week for the big "O". Funny how that saying has a completely different meaning when going through fertility treatments!

    Best wishes to you! My cycles are kind of long and my previous doctor did Clomid days 5-9. My new doctor had me on it days 3-7 to try to make me ovulate earlier. I have PCOS but in charting my cycles for a while now I've realized that I do normally ovulate (at least my OPKs say so) but it's not unusual for me to ovulate at day 22-25. Anyway enough rambling, good luck to us both! :)

    Good luck. I'm on CD5 and will be having my follie scan on 3/12. IUI will probably be next weekend. :) Good luck. Hope you get your BFP for your anniversary. ;)

    Thanks so much! Fingers crossed that this will be the time! There would be no greater gift! I'm thinking mine will likely be next weekend or early next week with a late cycle. Best wishes to you!!!!!

    Oh wow I couldn't imagine!!! I'm doing it unmediated and I usually ovulate around CD 14-16... Something like that... I'm still trying to narrow it down exactly. Good luck to you though.. Maybe march will be our month : )

    I'm on cycle day 12, so pretty close...come on smiley! Fingers crossed we get our BFP this cycle.

    I'm supposed to ovulate mid-late next week. We are doing IUI also

    Any tips for getting all the swimmers out of the catheter? Will be doing an ici first followed by iui.

    Well our one experience trying insemenation at home was like something out of National Geographic haha so you don't want my advice on that!!!!!! It really is a hilarious story, but ever since we have stuck to the doctor!!!!

    I would definitely take waiting to ovulate over the TWW anyday! It's terrible! Has anyone on here tried progesterone cream? To my knowledge, neither of my doctors have tested my progesterone levels and with my PCOS I'm thinking that they might be low. I've already been through 5 rounds of doctor assisted IUI and have yet to have a positive test. I bought some Emertia Pro-Gest last night and I plan to try it this cycle to see if it helps. The doc had my on Clomid days 3-7 this round instead of 5-9 and I'm starting to get some mucus so I think that I will Ovulate right around day 14 on Wednesday.

    i just had my CD15 follie scan this morning and am waiting for the nurse to call me back to tell me when to trigger, but i'm guessing it will be some day this week. this is our first medicated cycle so we'll see how this goes!! i do have progesterone suppositories i'm supposed to use after IUI so that should be interesting...ha! good luck to all!!
    got our miracle BFP on first IVF after 3 years TTC. DS born may 20, 2015 after emergency cesarean. all are doing well and trying to figure out this new journey!!
