I Met My New Little Girl Yesterday

Last Sept. I had to give up all hope of TTC because of a health problem. Went through all kinds of pain with that news...But pulled myself together and yesterday I went to meet Brooke. Brooke is 2 yrs old. Half Native American, Half African American..will fit right in with our multiracial family!!! She is beautiful. She has some medical and developmental problems but I flourish on challenges. It will take 6 weeks for all the clearances to be in...hope time flies but I will be visiting her regularily in the mean time. I plan to finally get a picture of my family...never felt we were "done"..first I have to find a photographer crazy enough to take on a single mom with 9 children! I hope to post a picture then...not the TTC ending I wanted or thought I would have but I am happy.

    Thank you...I never thought I would adopt again...but for a lifetime of loving care she can help heal some wounds with me too...fair trade! The first chance I get to bring her home for a visit I hope I can coordinate my active three as two don't live at home any longer and one is just about ready to fly the nest to start college in July....I am going to find that photographer and tell her to just do her best...then I will find a way to finally post a picture.
