Hi Everyone,
I know there are a few children here with sensory processing disorder. I went to a sensory processing disorder conference this past spring because I have several students with SPD and I also thought I might learn some new things for my son who has SPD. I learned about this really neat app called Brainworks to use for sensory breaks. You are supposed to do sensory breaks around every 2 hours and this app has pictures/directions of sensory activities for home, school, community, and desk environments. Then it suggests appropriate activities for sluggish, fast & stressed, fast & hyper, or just right. I really like it. I thought some others from here might like it and benefit from it also.
