BFN yes, ladies progesterone can...

...cause nausea, vomiting, headaches, sore breasts, hot flashes, frequent urination. It can make you feel fluish, have abdominal cramping and achiness and make you feel 100% sure you pregnant in every way.

I have been trying for 8 yrs. I have exhausted every resource I have and it is time to stop. I am older so if there is one thing I can say don't let time pass by. Do everything you can while you are younger to do this. I wish the best for all of you. Those who have been at this for along time hang in there. I hope your dreams come true.

Thank you for the support. I couldn't have done it without all of you. I'll never regret trying.

if you are 13dpo you still have a couple days but typically by now you will see a + on first response. if you are using a less sensitive test, then it will not show till 14-16dpo

Thanks continuing to test bfn. AF hasn't shown up but my last dose of progesterone was Sunday night. I saved back one good HCG test and will use it at the end of the week if AF doesn't show up. But I don't expect any change. I need a new focus. I don't want to go into a depression. So....I never thought I would do it again but made a couple phone calls and have a packet for foster care coming my way. I will give myself a couple months to just think about it.

Did you use cream, pills or suppositories? I think due to my age (37) and increasing the clomid to 150 I am going to request progesterone. This will be my last IUI attempt.

I had always used suppositories the pharmacist had to make up until one time my dr. sent the wrong script and I got these pills that you put into your vagina...I had a fit until the pharmacist told me they are the same thing. My insurance covered them where they did not the suppositories. They didn't need refrigeration either. They were less messy and they did work. But, for me my body's rejection of the "invader" (I tested borderline for immunity issues) was stronger. They would certainly hold back the bleeding.

Thank you Old Mama. I have heard the pills were better. Sounds like they are better all the way around. I am not sure If I will have coverage but since this is my last IUI I will do whatever it may take. Amanda
