I'm back over here!
I was MIA for awhile and have been busy: we bought a house, got another (rescue) dog, Cordelia is 19 months, my wife's job has weird unstable hours, and we did another fresh IVF cycle. All in the last 5 months.
Anyway...we just had our first beta yesterday, which came back at 117. Which means baby #2 is on the way!
Just thought I'd pop in and give a little update. I need to update my ticker and add another one now.

It worked! Two clomid cycles and two IUI's with injectables all BFN, on to IVF! 3dt of 2 perfect embryos on 12/15/14, BFP 7dp3dt! Frederick Lars born at 37 weeks on 8/15/15!! FET for #2 on 9/29/16 - BFP 5dp5dt!! Bertram Wilder and Mabel Moon born at 28.4 weeks on 3/29/17!
Then we had 4 frozen embies left. We did a frozen cycle. They thawed 2, and they disentegrated. They thawed the last 2, put them in, and we got Cordelia. But then there were no more.
So we did another fresh cycle. We had a lot more riding on this one, because we had absolutely no insurance coverage for it and had to take out a loan. There was no way we could afford to do another fresh cycle, so we knew if it didn't work this time we would either have to be done having kids, or cross our fingers that we had some left to freeze (we could save up the money for a frozen cycle a lot easier than we could a fresh one--about half the price!). I was SO SCARED it hadn't worked.
We ended up with 2 frozen embies as well, so in case this one decides not to stick around, or we do decide we want a third kid, we have another chance.
