Our Journey to baby #2

Hi everyone, creating a thread for baby #2, like I did for baby #1. This is for anyone who would like to follow and give and/or get advice throughout my journey to conceive #2.

Update: AF appeared today yay! Just 1 day later expected. I get to officially start the new cycle.

I would like to inseminate for my FIRST time this cycle. But I'm not sure if I should. I'm wondering if I should track another cycle using temp and OPK's. I have tracked 9 cycles total all being very similar across temp and length of cycle. But I never tracked OPK's with temp. Also, last night I felt really sick. Body ache, sore throat, and a fever. I took NyQuil and all symptoms seem to be gone. I just feel like I might have a little head cold. Do you think this could interfere with my upcoming cycle?

It seems like there is no perfect time to try...at least that's been our experience. I think we tracked 4 cycles total in prep for baby #2, and the last 2 we tracked & used OPK's...got pregnant first try but miscarried at 8 weeks...got pregnant again after the D&C, but that was a chemical... then it took us 4 more tries to successfully conceive baby #2 and now we're 22 weeks along... so I would say the sooner you start trying the better. You never know what obstacles might come along & make the journey that much longer. Good luck!

The deed is done! My first time and it's not at all what I was expecting. It hurt so bad!! I didn't think it would have hurt that bad but I've always been extra tight. I'm so glad we are only doing 1 vial at a time lol.

First ICI, 1 vial 24 hours past positive smiley :-) iced the donut. Now the TWW!

Did you use Preseed lubricant? That would probably help... But I hope you get your BFP!

I used the pregnancy plus preseed but maybe I didn't put enough. I only put it deep inside, should have put it everywhere else that needed to stretch lol. If there is a next time then I will.

Hi everyone, try #1 in December 2015 was a BFN. We used 1 ICI vial 24 hours past smiley. Put all swimmers on the entire face of the cervix (iced the donut). Used a moon cup after insemination and kept the moon cup in all night.

Here is my temp and symptom chart from fertility friend. Temperature was crazy this month, most likely because I was feeling sick.

Try #2 last night for January 2016. We used 1 ICI vial 16 hours past smiley. Put all the swimmers and conceive plus preseed on the face of the open cervix (iced the donut). Then inserted a moon cup immediately after removing speculum. A lot came out in those seconds of trying to get moon cup in. Made me worried and sad, I hope it was just the unimportant stuff.

Now I start my second TWW. I am 1 dpi. Temperature rose this morning to confirm ovulation last night yay!

You should be ok. From what I have read on here that is a pretty common occurrence.

Good luck I have also heard it is seminal fluid, not sperm that leaks out.

Every time I've used a cervical cup, I felt like I probably ... Scraped all the icing off the donut with the cup. But it's had good results for others. So far only bfn's so I guess I need to work on my technique.
