Taking holidays off

Anyone else planning on taking time off from ttc to get through the holidays? I just feel the shipping could possibly be a nightmare. As well as the money could be used for gifts. As of now, NW would have to have a pretty good sale to sway me into changing my mind, lol.

I am not because I'm working with an RE and my vials will arrive a over a week before I need them.

Its a good idea to sit it out until the craziness of xmas goes away if you feel it's the best for you.
If I had a dewar shipped during this time, I would just schedule it for a couple of days earlier than I would normally want it to arrive in case it gets delayed. NW doesn't start counting until you get it anyway and the vials will be fine an extra couple of days in the tank.

If I were to take off it would be because I wouldnt want to sour New Years party with a BFN. I'm am not allowing myself this kind of thinking so Im going ahead with it and hopefully ill resist not testing before then :)

I'm only 3.5 months postpartum so I'm not TTC this year, but we planned our IVF cycle to be in December last year so that we wouldn't have to buy anyone presents or see anyone for Christmas, haha.
TTC since September 2007 - 8 donor insems in 2012, all BFN. DH had varicocele repair #2 1/3/14.
It worked! Two clomid cycles and two IUI's with injectables all BFN, on to IVF! 3dt of 2 perfect embryos on 12/15/14, BFP 7dp3dt! Frederick Lars born at 37 weeks on 8/15/15!! FET for #2 on 9/29/16 - BFP 5dp5dt!! Bertram Wilder and Mabel Moon born at 28.4 weeks on 3/29/17!

LOL merilung! That's exactly what I'm doing (well, if my blood test situation is resolved today.) I told my family that I wouldn't be celebrating the holiday because I needed to put the money toward ttc this month. They were mostly understanding and now I can at least get away from the famly stress.
Luca Gabriel was born 10/25/17 at 34 weeks, due to PROM. He's healthy and perfect! I'm in love!
