Hypothyroidism?

So obviously I'm going to talk to my doctor about this, I go back to see my PCP on 01/05 but wanted to get some feedback. My maternal grandmother had hypothyroidism so it's a pretty close tie in my family. I've always been overweight, suffer with PCOS and have a really hard time losing weight. I just got my labs back from my physical from Labcorp and my TSH levels were 3.26. I know that is technically within the "normal" range but from what I'm seeing it's in the high end of the normal range."Normal Range" is 0.358-3.74 per my lab paperwork I went back and looked at previous labs and they are as follows:
12/11/15- 3.26
07/15/15-2.00
12/12/14-2.67
10/15/13-3.27
11/05/12-3.07
From what I've read (opinions vary) but optimal range seems to be under 2.1 and with the exception of 1 time my numbers have been higher than that. I'm just wondering if this could be why I'm feeling crappy and of course the bigger question of why I have not been successful in TTC.

My hypothyroidism caused infertility and I needed Clomid. Worked on the first try though!

from what I read, it means you have hypothyridism. so taking a natural L thyrosine seems best or iodine pills?
Im on iodine pills now anyway now but perhaps its too low. Im so ticked. 7 losses this yr with no one saying it had to do with thyroid
I take Synthroid when TTC and when pregnant because my TSH (without meds) is usually 3 or slightly above.
I would definitely discuss with your doctor or an RE.
Best of luck!
