I've been a lurker since 2011 with 3 failed attempts. I am 33 now and we are jumping back on the ttc train. Original plan was to AI in Feb. I haven't tracked anything so I was going to see when I got a smiley in Jan. My ob did some tests and I did ovulate last month. I'm on a 28 day cycle.All my blood work say I'm good to try. Lost 60 lbs and became vegetarian. Wonder if I'm wasting money by not tracking anything b4 ai-ing. I won't become a temper and I don't get ewcm. I don't get O pains. Does age have anything to do with how many hours after surge you ovulate? Trying to give myself a good shot without stressing over everything.

Age does have something to do with timing, but usually just in a general way.. I think the younger you are the longer after OPK+... I think... I'm no expert! You're pretty "mid-age" for ttc tho, not on the young side, not on the old side, so I wouldn't worry too much about it.
