New Year's Superstitions

So in looking at fertility superstitions for New Year's I will be wearing white underwear (Puerto Rican tradition) and eating 12 grapes as the clock strikes 12 for luck this year! Anyone else following any traditions for NYE?

    Not this year. We usually follow the typical eat ham etc. hasn't brought us any luck yet.
    SMBC: TTC since 12/2014: 3 home attempts: 2 BFN & 1 chemical. 3 medicated Dr assisted IUI's: 2 BFN & 1 BFP (04/24/15) with twins in May (new donor) MC with D&C @ 9w. 4th IUI 09/17/15: BFN. 10/15: hsg good. 11/15: BFN. 01/16: BFN. 05/16: Embryos arrested. IVF failed 06/16: KD BFN 07/16: KD BFN 09/16: IUI #7 with donor sperm BFP-MC at 9w w/ D&C. 02/17: diagnosed with hetero compound MTHFR & clotting mutation. 03/09/17 IUI #8: chemical pregnancy. IUI #9: 04/19/17 BFN LOOKING FOR EMBRYO'S TO ADOPT

    Yes. I am from SC. We eat a traditional black-eyed peas with collard greens cooked & seasoned to perfection. It symbolizes pennies & dollars. Supposed to bring you financial prosperity in the new year.

    I drove all over town today looking for the dang black-eyed peas. They were sold out everywhere (other than those nasty canned ones.) Finally managed to get the last bag at a store far from my house. They better be luckier for me this year than they have been in the past. LOL
    Luca Gabriel was born 10/25/17 at 34 weeks, due to PROM. He's healthy and perfect! I'm in love!

    Never heard of the grapes but since i happen to huave some i will def be eating my 12 thanks for the heads up!!!!

    I'm originally from PR and don't remember the underwear one!!
    We do pass around cups with 12 grapes at midnight, I don't like grapes but I do eat them.
    I remember my grandma would grab her broom to "sweep out bad fortune and negativity".
