Special day tomorrow :)

Tomorrow--FINALLY, at 21 weeks--we have our anatomy scan! It also happens to be our anniversary! So, DW and I both took a half day off from work. We will drop the toddler at daycare at his usual time, go out for a special breakfast, head to our 9am appointment and THEN...go to town hall and finally (after 8 years of marriage) go get our legal marriage license!

See, we had a ceremony and reception in Texas back in 2008, when we were anticipating living in TX for the foreseeable future and never dreamed TX would have legal same-sex marriage. We moved to Connecticut shortly after our son was born and just procrastinated on getting the legal paper. But with a new baby on the way, it is high past time, so here we go!

Looking forward to tomorrow is what's getting me through this blah Monday! :)

    that sounds like the best day!! have a blast :)
    got our miracle BFP on first IVF after 3 years TTC. DS born may 20, 2015 after emergency cesarean. all are doing well and trying to figure out this new journey!!
