Our sweet little Paxton is now 7 weeks old! Where has the time gone!? Also, our older son will be 5 years old in 3 weeks! Such big boys. Here are some recent pics of little Paxton. As of this week he is 12 pounds and 24 inches! He's huge compared to his brother at this age. Not chunky, but long and stocky.
Also.... he is 4.5 weeks post-surgery and he is doing great! We are scheduling his second hernia repair for August, unless it becomes an emergency surgery situation before then. He is doing wonderfully, and I couldn't ask for a better baby! We had a REALLY rough first month. He would not latch when breastfeeding, caused a lot of pain and damage during our breastfeeding attempts, and we had his tongue and lip tie revised. After that, it took about 2-3 weeks for him to figure out how to breastfeed without causing me pain. I was EPing for the first 5 weeks and I am glad to say that at 5 weeks something changed and he started latching well! Yay! Breastfeeding is incredibly important to me, so this was a huge step in the right direction.
We went to Florida a few weeks ago and stayed for a week! It was so much fun. Here is a photo from Paxton's first flight (big brother loves holding him)
First trip to the beach! He slept the entire time.
