Guess who's 24 weeks??

Baby is!! A major milestone- viability! Another check off the worry list, although I think about preterm labor like .. 12 times a day. Lol

Checkup was great today, measuring perfectly and I'm right on track with weight (phew!)

We even bought my first two boxes of diapers .. Turns out they're as expensive as everyone makes them out to be. Coupons, coupons, coupons. <3

    Check with medical supply stores. Here you can buy box of diapers 120-240 for $20 plus tax.
    TTC attempt 1: ICI Dec 2015 BFN/Attempt 2-3 IUI Jan&April 2016 BFN/Attempt 4: 1ICI 1 IUI May 2016 BFN/Attempt 5-7: ICI-June, Sept, Nov 2016 BFN/Attempt 8-9 iui April 2017 BFN.

    Congratulations on reaching viability!

    You should look into couponing. I coupon and I have never paid for diapers! :)

    It is pampers swaddlers for newborn and size one and size two through six are pampers 12 hr protection snug and dry I believe. They are the brand of diapers used by our hospital and the medical supply store is an extension of the hospital.

    Unfortunately I don't think I have the patience or time to coupon seriously .. But I clip here and there. We save about 10 total in the two boxes yesterday, so for me that was a major win. Two coupons, cartwheel, instant gift card rebate, and a red card lol

    I am so glad baby is doing so well. I'd hold off with too many more diapers right now. Some of my kids were sensitive to certain brands and some too outgrew those tiny diapers so fast.

    I got loads of diapers at my baby showers. If you have one coming up, make sure everyone knows diapers are an acceptable gift. My daughter fortunately has not had any problems with rash or leaks regardless of what brand we used.

    Yay for viability!

    As for diapers, if you are on Facebook join some of the garage sale sites in your area. Two of my friends are extreme couponers and they sell their surplus diapers there. So, if they get them for free they usually resell them for half of retail price.

    I'm honestly not too interested to stockpile diapers .. Mostly because you don't know what baby will be sensitive too/ what will work best .. But my wife is like gung hoe- let's use the coupons.. So we'll probably buy a few boxes as a compromise ;)

    When I do finally get to it I will be cloth diapering. Sometimes you can get good deals at target and amazon.

    We do both cloth and sposies - Pampers irritated Freddie in the NICU but he was fine with any of the "natural" brands (honest, babyganics, seventh gen) and Target generics.
    TTC since September 2007 - 8 donor insems in 2012, all BFN. DH had varicocele repair #2 1/3/14.
    It worked! Two clomid cycles and two IUI's with injectables all BFN, on to IVF! 3dt of 2 perfect embryos on 12/15/14, BFP 7dp3dt! Frederick Lars born at 37 weeks on 8/15/15!! FET for #2 on 9/29/16 - BFP 5dp5dt!! Bertram Wilder and Mabel Moon born at 28.4 weeks on 3/29/17!

    I have the Shopular app, and it alerts me when any of the stores I have on my list have sales. You can print coupon or just save it on your phone.
    A friend of mine at work told me to buy a pack/box of diapers each time I did my bigger grocery store trip (not the small in between trips), so we've been doing that and gradually building our stock. :)
    Our sweet boy has arrived after TTC'ing for 4 years!
