Same here. DW took it until 32ish weeks because the Dr. recommended stopping it then. Not sure why, I remember it was more of a "doesn't do anything after this point so you can stop". Thankfully our OB was supported of it throughout the pregnancy. I was afraid she'd give us a hard time. In which case we would do like most folks and lie to our doctors.

I dont think you need to take it the whole way thru inless you have a clotting disorder. I did keep taking mine till around 6 weeks then weaned off by 8 weeks.

Our RE told us absolutely no aspirin on our most recent FET (April) but she was the same DR who had my wife take it her whole pregnancy. She said new research shows that it causes miscarriages, but I don't really buy it. Our IVF with aspirin worked, and our FET was a chemical.

Ibuprofen (NSAID) is contraindicated in pregnancy since it can close the opening in a babies heart in utero. So definitely not to be taken after heart developed. Babies hearts are a little different than ours. If the opening closes early baby isn't able to circulate the blood like it needs to. Aspirin is also in the NSAID family. Granted it's a smaller dose so might not affect things but if I were you I would check with a doctor and see what they say and why they make that recommendation.
