Woke up today to brown discharge. I'm 5+2 today and had absolutely nothing with my last pregnancy. I'm going to get another beta today. And possibly a rhogam shot on Monday.

I had spotting the day before my positive, at ~5/6weeks and at 9 weeks. It was usually just a small amount for one day. And brown. As long as You are not cramping or have bright red bleeding you will probably be okay. Although I did get a third beta when I had spotting at 5/6 weeks

Brown blood is old blood... I agree with New-Mama? there isn't much to worry about unless it is bright red.... before a couple of my pregnancies I had a small amt. of brown also.

I had some brown and pink discharge at 6 & 7 weeks with this pregnancy. Having had an early miscarriage 6 years ago, it definitely scared me. I am almost 19 weeks now and so far, no more spotting or other issues.

Brown is old blood and technically nothing to worry about, especially if there is no cramping or other symptoms.

Thanks everyone! They took my beta and it was 6140 (needed to be 3900) so my hormone levels look great and won't be doing a repeat. However, I have A- blood type and both my wife and donor are positive so I'll be getting a rhogam shot tomorrow! Ultrasound this week!

Went to the doc! Baby is perfect and measuring two days ahead! I do have an irritated cervix and yeast infection so I'm switching to oral progesterone!

Just figured I'd give an update. I did end up with a subchronic bleed that eventually went away. Baby is doing awesome...I was diagnosed with HG which I did not have with my daughter. I'm now 12+3 and in a black hole of vomiting, nausea, and IVs. Send positive thoughts my way, it's been extremely rough.

Yay for baby doing well! Sorry about the HG, though -- I hope you start feeling better soon.
