I have commented here and there but haven't posted in a good while. We are starting our Christmas break and so excited to have some down time, of course it is never really "relaxing" time in this house lol
A just turned 8 in November! She is in 2nd grade and doing very well and unfortunately very popular with the boys recently . She received several Christmas gifts and get reports from her teacher of all the "attention" she is getting. Sigh.... I thought we had a few more years before all that! Of course she tries to insist she is a "preteen". I say slow your roll girlfriend!! LOL She is still very much into gymnastics and doing very well in her competitions. We are in the middle of her season right now. Her other interests have pretty much stayed the same for a good while now....owls, science, anything orange, animals and babies She is still very much an old soul and wise beyond her years. She is a little mother and a perfect big sister. She has followed my growth pattern as a child almost identically and was a huge baby and toddler and a smaller elementary aged child. She just had a well visit last month and was 50.5" and 54 lbs putting her at about 46% for height and 36% for weight at 8 years old.
H is 6.5 and in 1st grade. She started on the swim team a few months ago and it has been great for her. She is not big into athletics but she loves to swim so this is awesome as far as exercise and putting some muscle on her skinny butt. She is still very much our actress and girly girl. She loves to draw and create things every spare moment she has. She has a huge heart and is a very generous kiddo. She continues to just grow and grow and soon is going to catch her big sis. We are trying hard to put some weight on her as she grows! She is 48.5" and 45 lbs at 6.5 yo which is 80% and 36%.
M is 4 now and goes to PreK 2 mornings a week. He missed the FL school cutoff date by 4 days so we have to wait until this coming August for him to start VPK which stinks because he is wicked smart and very ready for full time school but it is what it is. This boy is the energizer bunny and the most stubborn human on the planet so man, is he exhausting. But he is such a sweet, lovable, snuggly guy so it all evens out He loves trucks of all kinds, dinosaurs, soccer and building things out of anything he can find. He is our peanut of the family at only around 40" and 34.5 lbs which puts him about 27% for height and 25% for weight.
I is now 2.5 years old. He is a total hoot. He just recently potty trained and put our 8 YEARS straight of diapers to an end!!! He has a huge vocabulary, loves dinosaurs, climbs anything and everything, and is trouble with a capital T! He makes us laugh and loves to snuggle more than anyone else so he is the perfect baby of the family. He is built like a tank and is more muscular than any toddler I have ever seen. He will soon be pummeling his "big" brother who likes to pick on him so I am waiting for him to figure out he has the ability to do that! His stats are 38" and 31 lbs which puts him at 86% and 64%.
We also recently decided we weren't busy enough so we got a puppy October 30th. The kids all agreed on the name Sammy. She is a small little girl and the perfect addition to our family. We all love her to death already.
