Hi my name is coretta and I signed up a month ago. I posted a question weeks ago about choosing a donor, but I'm still torn. I wanted to use NW because of price and no Dr required. I wanted to buy vials from someone whenever I do ttc but with price increase of transfer fee I'm not sure. I just wish nw had more variety of donors to choose from than I wouldn't so conflicted.I was looking into a lesbian owned sperm bank pacific reproductive services they have variety of donors but do require Dr signeture and cost a little more. But it's within budget thankfully.. Ladies I'm just so torn as I have my heart set on ttc at home but I really want more donors to choose from to my liking. Any advice is appreciated. As with anything I prayed on this and I'm really undecided. I hope all of you receive little miracles soon god bless

May 2017 IUI BFP!!!!
As for choosing one at NW, it's really up to you. I understand wanting more variety and if the few vials I have left won't do the trick, I might be looking outside NW.
There's a couple new donors coming up. The trick with NW is that the vials might not be available right now but they will in a couple of months and you just have to set up that alert and wait. Once they come available, you must act quickly and buy as many as possible.
Best of luck, choosing a donor can be a little stressful but you will find that one (or two) that feels right.
TTC since March 2015: 5 ICIs & 5 IUIs -all BFN
July 2016- IVF w/BC/Lupron/Gonal-f/Ovidrel - converted to IUI- BFN
Sept 2016-IVF w/BC/Lupron/Gonal-f/Ovidrel- Two 3d ET- BFP @ 9dp3dt, Beta#1: 209 @ 12dp3dt, #2: 782 @ 15dp3dt - EDD 6/3/17 - It's a Boy!
I know the donor options are slim. I wanted someone rH- because it was recommended to me to go that way by the RE, but there were only 3 to choose from. I finally just went with one of them because the donor isn't as important to me. I know it is very important to some.
Good luck with whatever you decide. This process is difficult, and you definitely need to go with whatever makes you the most comfortable.
